Wildcat Pride: Teacher Edition!

Richmond Hill High School loves to recognize the hard work of its teachers. Each week, a teacher is selected by their peers to win the weekly Wildcat Award! Each week's winner gets to proudly display "The Wildcat" in their classrooms.

This week's winner is Ms. Clark! The teacher who nominated Ms. Clark had this to say: "I am presenting this week’s Wildcat Teacher of the Week Award to Ms. Raven Clark. Ms. Clark is the definition of what a dedicated, caring teacher strives to be; the epitome of a Richmond Hill model educator for the past 15 years. Every day without fail she is prepared to give 110% of herself to both her students and colleagues. For her students, she is both teacher and role model. She provides the kind of education that goes well beyond a deep mathematical knowledge, though she excels at that, her most elemental of roles. She also leads them to being better humans, daily modeling what it is to live your life through kindness. When she made the transition from RHMS teacher to RHHS teacher, there was no mistaking the excitement her past middle school students had at the prospect of having another year in her classroom. She is well loved.

To her colleagues, Raven is a reliable source of support and an unending wellspring of pedagogical knowledge. She makes other teachers want to be better at their jobs, because to her it’s not just a “job”, but a dedicated lifestyle of youth education. Rarely does a day go by that she does not do something or brainstorm ways to improve the lives of those she teaches or works with. Whether in the classroom, leading Beta Club or the Wildcat Cheerleaders, or in the staff rooms, Ms. Clark is practically perfect in EVERY way.”

Thank you, Ms. Clark, for living and breathing all things RHHS!

Go Wildcats!
