Wildcat Pride: Teacher Edition

Richmond Hill High School loves to recognize the hard work of its teachers. Each week, a teacher is selected by their peers to win the weekly Wildcat Award! Each week's winner gets to proudly display "The Wildcat" in their classrooms.

This week's winner is Mr. Smith! The teacher who nominated him had this to say: "I nominate Damon Smith to receive the Wildcat Pride Award this week. I have chosen Damon for two reasons. He is always in motion working on our technology needs. I am not very technologically savvy and whenever I ask him a question or to help me find a way to make my job easier he is always willing to come to my office, research an app or show me some new trick. I have never not seen him with a smile on his face! The second reason relates directly to my job. He took over Dept. head for Technology this year and he had lots of questions. He didn’t hesitate to come see me. He quickly grasped a lot of what I was saying and if he didn’t, he took many notes. He took great care in planning for the needs of our teachers and students for this especially challenging year. Now that he has a year under his belt, he has totally rocked the budget for next school year. This Wildcat token is in the right place in Damon’s office!"

Go Wildcats!
