Wildcat Pride: Teacher Edition

Richmond Hill High School loves to recognize the hard work of its teachers. Each week, a teacher is selected by their peers to win the weekly Wildcat Award! Each week's winner gets to proudly display "The Wildcat" in their classrooms.

This week's winner is Mrs. McDowell! The teacher who nominated her had this to say: "I am so happy to pass on the Wildcat Award to Danielle McDowell. She is not only an amazing teacher but also a wonderful friend to many! I had the pleasure of co-teaching with her my first two years at RHHS which is where I first learned just how incredible she truly is as an educator. Danielle is the kind of teacher you hope your own children have one day. Her passion for teaching English is easily seen on a daily basis inside and outside of the classroom. After school tutoring, helping co-workers and working late hours on lesson plans and grades are only a small fraction of how much she dedicates her time to education. She strives to make sure all of her students are successful and meets their individual needs. RHHS is so fortunate to have a one-of-a-kind teacher like Danielle!”

Thank you, Mrs. McDowell, for all you do for RHHS!

Go Wildcats!
