Wildcat Pride: Teacher Edition

Richmond Hill High School loves to recognize the hard work of its teachers. Each week, a teacher is selected by their peers to win the weekly Wildcat Award! Each week's winner gets to proudly display "The Wildcat" in their classrooms.

This week's winner is Mrs. Wooten! The teacher who nominated her had this to say: "With great pleasure, the Wildcat Pride award is given to Mrs. Janet Wooten. Mrs. Wooten has been instrumental in building the choral department at RHHS. Anyone walking by her classroom is privileged to hear voices blend in angelic tones. She ensures that the chorus enters multiple events and competitions to showcase their amazing talents. At the beginning of last school year, when students were required to mask-up, Mrs. Wooten ensured students had specialty masks, then enabled choral students to continue in jubilant song. Mrs. Wooten is a teacher that gives 100% and is enthusiastic in her classes. She encourages students to reach their maximum potential in music. RHHS is blessed to have Janet Wooten as our choral leader.”

Thank you, Mrs. Wooten, for all you do for RHHS!

Go Wildcats!
